Kawasaki India has teased the Ninja 500 on their official social media platforms with a hint of a soon-to-come launch in India.

Powering the Ninja 500 is a 451cc parallel-twin engine producing a peak power of 45bhp @9,000rpm and a peak torque of 4.26kgm @6,000rpm mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper-clutch.

The International version comes in two variants, standard and SE with the latter variant featuring a TFT instrument cluster to the LCD in the standard variant, smartphone connectivity, a twin LED headlamp cluster and a proximity activation start system. The bike is also offered in a dual-tone paint scheme.

The bike also features clip-on handlebars, telescopic front forks and a mono-shock with the braking system comprised of a 310mm front and a 220mm rear disc that comes standard with dual-channel ABS on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.

While we refrain from speculating on the price and other details not yet known to us ahead of the India launch, we know that the bike will be priced quite similarly to the other products offered by Kawasaki India.
