This is the new TVS NTorq 125 XT — which now sits above the NTroq 125’s Race XP variant. Priced at Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-Delhi), this one’s approximately Rs 14,000 dearer than the Race XP variant.
Dual screens and Bluetooth connectivity are now available in the instrument cluster. Weather alerts, news, cricket scores, and social media updates are all displayed on the second screen. It even comes with a voice assistant that can change modes, adjust the screen brightness, navigate and change music.
The NTorq 125 XT now comes in a Neon Green colour scheme with updated graphics. The scooter has a new set of 12-inch alloy wheels that are said to be lighter than those on the other models, as well as an LED headlamp at the front.
The same 124.8cc single-cylinder engine powers the NTorq 125 XT, producing 9.25 bhp at 7000 rpm and 1.07 kgm at 5500 rpm. The TVS silent-start mechanism is included. The front suspension is telescopic forks, with a mono-shock at the back, and the brakes are a petal-type disc at the front and a drum at the rear.
Unless you’re constantly out riding on your scooter and don’t have time to check your phone for these regular updates that the NTorq 125 XT provides, you should steer clear of this variant. If you want to read a fun scooter comparison story that we recently did, you can read about it here.
